I am Kai Zhang. I am currently a Master of Design Studies student at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, with a concentration in simulation and computational design. During this summer internship, I am assisting August Lehrecke, the co-founder and computational designer of Pneuhaus, to develop a fully parametric workflow in grasshopper and C# script. This workflow covers all design process from form-finding, Patterning, Labeling, Unrolling, and Simulation, adaptively taking various input topology and pattern type into a production-ready file.

The scripts and explanations he provided have been truly inspiring and have played a pivotal role in laying a robust foundation for my explorations in this field.
